Dear Praying Friends,
Marcela & Tiago
Tiago and Marcela were both saved and became charter members in our youth group in Iguape. They married and are currently university students.
Tiago was touched by my message on how I started a church as an English Club, asking myself what I had that my neighbors wanted. His interest was the young boys in our church. When he asked himself what he had that they wanted, up came the answer. “Futebol”. So he started with our churches’ five boys. Bible study first… on Saturday morning. Then to the beach to play Soccer!
One Sunday night I got up to preach and there were 20 boys in front of me. I would have to alter my message. So, I started out in story form. Then I abandoned the message, continued the story and ended up praying the sinner’s prayer for salvation. I invited anybody who wanted, to repeat after me. When I asked who had sincerely prayed with me, there were 10 boys and one adult who had accepted Christ as Savior.
On our next trip to Iguape, we are going after the girls. While the boys play “futebol” the girls will make Christmas cards with Jean and Marcela.

Thank you for your offerings toward our União Church building. Our next step is to draw up the plans.
Please pray that the city of Juazeiro do Norte will give us a property tax exemption on our church property.
