Dear Praying Friends,
Rita makes containers for fireworks out of scrap paper. Old cement bags seem to be best.
One Wednesday night, at Prayer Meeting, Darrel asked if she was waiting to stop smoking before accepting Christ. Yes. That was it. Darrel assured her that Jesus would accept her just as she was cigarettes and all. He would take away whatever He did not want. Later, when asked what it was like to have Christ in her life, she responded, “Peace. I have such peace.”
Our daughter, Joy, and family were here for a visit. They came in time to help us celebrate Jean’s birthday! It was great to have them with us, and fun to play with our grandsons, Lucas and Caleb.
We are looking forward to seeing them again in September when we start a short furlough. Our plan is to fly to Durham, North Carolina, pick up our car (stored in a barn) and head west.
We are looking for Air Miles to travel to the States. If you have 40,000 or more you would like to donate, you can help us.
