This month we are painting classrooms, installing doors and putting in light fixtures to get ready for the Enrichment program to start August 5. Three new classrooms will be available for our increased enrollment. We plan to have morning and afternoon classes one day a week; and expand to receive 3rd , 4th , 5th and 6th graders… a possible increase of four times.
Célio, our new bricklayer has replaced Geraldo, who worked for Darrel off and on for 30 years. Geraldo could not stand his helper, Cicero, constantly telling him he needed Jesus Christ as his Savior. As he became more involved in spiritism, conflicts at work increased. At first, he rejected the idea that he was following Satan – then he admitted it, but continued with his choice.
Célio was different. The “Good News” of Salvation was what he was looking for. He chose Jesus and now he is studying his Bible, praying for his family and bringing them to church. Cicero and Célio
Darrel’s mother is dying… her heart is wearing out. Last October we celebrated her 100th birthday. We are trying to decide when to come to the States. Please pray with us.
Thank you for your part in this ministry,
Darrel and Jean
